Apocalypse Now: A Conversation with George Dyson

A conversation with best-selling author George Dyson on the subject of technology, time, and apocalyptic visions and predictions. A historian of technology, his most recent publications include Darwin Among the Machines: The Evolution of Global Intelligence and Turing’s Cathedral: The Origins of the Digital Universe. In addition to his writing, Mr. Dyson also builds kayaks. Moderated by Mark C. Taylor, co-director of the IRCPL and Chair of the Department of Religion at Columbia University. He has written over twenty books, the most recent of which are titled Rewiring the Real and Refiguring the Spiritual.
